THE FOUNDERS
Rooted in heart, driven by purpose — creating a sanctuary where healing thrives and community transforms.
Kaylah Wohlgemuth
Founder of The Retreat Collective
Kaylah is a spiritual healer, coach, and trauma-informed guide with a heart for deep, generational healing. After walking through her own journey of survival, reconnection, and reclamation, she created The Retreat Collective as a space where others could return to themselves — safely and powerfully. Kaylah blends soul work, nervous system awareness, ancestral healing, and radical truth into everything she offers, helping others rise without shame or pressure. She believes healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that’s exactly the point.
Dustin Wohlgemuth
Backbone of The Village & Maker of Things That Matter
Dustin is the one who keeps the back end of The Retreat Collective running — the literal builder of the village. From moving furniture and fixing fences to organizing event setups and solving the problems no one sees, Dustin does the grunt work that makes the healing work possible. While Kaylah and Kevin hold the space, he holds the structure. On the side, Dustin crafts handmade goods for the Village Shop — a practice that has become its own quiet form of healing, focus, and presence.
Kevin Theriault
Co-Facilitator & No-BS Mirror Holder
Kevin is the one who cuts through the fluff. A former military man with a deep respect for discipline and truth, he shows up in retreat spaces to challenge you — not coddle you. His approach is blunt, direct, and honest as hell. Kevin will hand you the mirror and make sure you actually look into it. He’s not here to sugarcoat anything — he’s here to help you face yourself, own your choices, and grow through the discomfort. And it works.
A Word From Kaylah
Creating this isn’t a hobby anymore.
Hosting local retreats and events never felt as impactful as I knew they could be. I’d ride the high after a successful event, only to feel it fade a few days later—leaving me craving the next healing high.
The goal has always been large-scale, but at some point, the vision outgrew the container.
I want to build Canada’s largest healing community—a sanctuary on hundreds of acres where people come to reconnect with themselves and each other. A place for trauma survivors, overwhelmed families, practitioners, seekers, and anyone searching for something deeper than what life currently offers.
This vision was born from my own transformation. After a life-altering psychedelic experience, I saw what I needed to create: a village that heals the individual, the family, and the collective. I’ve spent the last six years building the foundation—and now I’m ready to bring it to life. I have the passion, the pain, the plan—and now I need someone who believes in making a real impact.
I promise, I’m not just another name in your inbox. I will be a success story. And I want you to know that together, we changed lives. I want you to feel proud knowing you helped create that change.
You deserve a seat at the table.
Let’s build something that outlasts us all.
